(In an effort to keep you fully informed, and fully entertained, below we present today's FYI and TMI — news you need and news that's, well, sometimes needless….)

Santos Named Latin Songwriter Of The Year
Latin GRAMMY nominee Anthony "Romeo" Santos was named Songwriter of the Year for the third time at the 21st Annual ASCAP Latin Music Awards on March 19 in Los Angeles. The Latin Song of the Year went to "Inténtalo (Me Prende)," penned by DJ Erick Rincon and Sergio Zavala. In addition, GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winners Ramón Ayala Y Sus Los Bravos Del Norte were honored with the Creative Voice Award.

Pizza Inspired By Psychedelic Rock
Australian psychedelic rock outfit Tame Impala aren't only making music, they're making pizza. The Perth natives have inspired a pizza recipe that's featured in Australian chef Theo Kalogeracos' latest cookbook, Theo & Co. Take 2: The Search For The Perfect Pizza Continues. The recipe includes haloumi cheese, lemons and green impala peppercorns. Nothing about this pizza sounds very tame.
