The 2020 Latin GRAMMYs just got bigger!
On Tuesday (Oct. 27), the Latin Recording Academy announced a new round of additional performers for the 21st Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast, which will feature some of the leading artists in Latin music. The newly unveiled performers include current nominees Anuel AA, Calibre 50, Julio Reyes Copello, Alex Cuba, Guaynaa, Víctor Manuelle, Ricardo Montaner, Debi Nova, Raquel Sofía and Sebastián Yatra.
They join previously announced performers Bad Bunny, Pedro Capó, Alejandro Fernández, Karol G, Kany García, Los Tigres del Norte, Marc Anthony, Christian Nodal, Fito Páez and Nathy Peluso.
The 2020 Latin GRAMMYs, airing on Univision Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT), will be hosted by Carlos Rivera and Roselyn Sánchez. The broadcast will also air on TNT (cable) at 7 p.m. (MEX)/8 p.m. (COL)/10 p.m. (ARG/CHI), and on Televisa on Channel 5.

With the theme "Music Makes Us Human," this year's reimagined telecast will be anchored from Miami, featuring performances from multiple cities around the world. The show will be a celebration of musical excellence and the power of music to bring us together, through diverse stories of hope, community and a renewed sense of purpose.
Due to the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Latin GRAMMYs Awards will not have a live audience or a red carpet. The Latin Recording Academy, Univision and their production teams will adhere to the strictest safety guidelines and protocols.

How Can I Watch The 2023 Latin GRAMMYs?
On Nov. 16, the 2023 Latin GRAMMYs will air on Univision, UniMás and Galavisión in the U.S., and at 10:30 p.m. CET on Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE) in Spain. It will also air on cable channel TNT at 19:30 (MEX) / 20:30 (PAN-COL) / 21:30 (VEN) / 22:30 (ARG/CHI).

Flamenco is an indispensable part of the folkloric tapestry of the global music community And now, you can bask in a tribute to it — Latin GRAMMYs style.
A new audiovisual flamenco piece aired Friday, Nov. 10 at 8 a.m. EST, as part of "The Latin GRAMMY Session." The production showcased the cultural art and identity of Andalucia, while giving viewers a glimpse of the genre’s evolution. This piece was filmed in Grenada, at the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Hotel Grande Palace.
The sessions dove into the flamenco classics and influence on emerging artists in this generation — while showcasing the architecture, beauty and history of the spaces all under the direction of Latin GRAMMY winner Javier Limón.
Featured artists in this session include Latin GRAMMY nominee Carmen Linares, recipient of the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award, Latin GRAMMY winners Arcángel and Niña Pastori, alongside Lola Indigo, Alana Sinkëy, and Latin GRAMMY nominee Omar Montes, accompanied by dancer Belén López. Antonio Banderas To Receive The President's Award From The Latin Recording Academy At The 2023 Latin GRAMMYs
At the 2023 Latin GRAMMYs, the heralded actor, director and entrepreneur will be awarded for his manifold contributions as a global ambassador of Latin cultural heritage.

And the Latin Recording Academy's 2023 President's Award goes to … the one and only Antonio Banderas! The Latin Recording Academy has today announced that the critically acclaimed Spanish actor, director and entrepreneur will be honored with the 2023 President's Award at the 2023 Latin GRAMMYs, which takes place Thursday, Nov. 16.
The President's Award honors extraordinary members of the Latin community who have worked to promote and advance arts and culture around the world. It has only been presented in exceptional cases throughout the history of the Latin Recording Academy — most recently to Lin-Manuel Miranda in 2017.

Banderas has been a steadfast promoter of the musical arts throughout his career, and in 2019 he founded the Teatro del Soho in his native Málaga, Spain.
The company has staged successful Spanish-language productions of iconic musicals like "Company" and "A Chorus Line," reinvigorating the city's live theater scene and making it accessible to new generations of spectators throughout the country with touring productions.

GRAMMY Rewind: Marco Antonio Solís Offers Encouragement For Aspiring Musicians During His Person Of The Year Acceptance Speech
Mexican hitmaker Marco Antonio Solís motivated young musicians to stay positive and trust the Creator during his Person Of The Year acceptance speech at the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs.

After nearly 50 years in the industry, legendary Mexican musician and producer Marco Antonio Solís has established himself as one of the most iconic Latin artists in history – from spearheading one of the bestselling grupero bands, Los Bukis, to creating his own roster of solo hits.
As Manuel Abud, the CEO of the Latin Recording Academy, said of Solís in April 2022, "He continues to break down generational barriers through his poignant lyrics … and inspire greater acceptance and understanding." And seven months later, the icon was honored with the Person Of The Year award at the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs.
"My heart is filled with gratitude," Solís said in Spanish during his acceptance speech. "Gratitude is the heart's memory. I am grateful to everyone who is watching us out there on the television. To all those who have supported me in my career over so many years."
Before leaving the stage, Solís gave an uplifting message to aspiring musicians: "To all those who are dreaming of being here some day, a big hug and never lose courage, and above all, faith in our most loved Creator. You will be here some day. Thank you."
