Current breakthrough singer/songwriter and 54th GRAMMY Awards nominee Skylar Grey was a recent guest for an installment of The Recording Academy's 5 Questions With … series. Held at The Academy's headquarters in Santa Monica, Calif., Grey discussed her songwriting process, music education, advice for aspiring artists, and her forthcoming debut album, Invisible.
"'Invisible' is about feeling like you're going through all these extremes to try and get people's attention, or to show [them] who you are," said Grey regarding the title track off her album. "I wanted to have a superhero element to the video because [through] my journey I've found ways to turn my invisibility into super power."
