"I told myself that I would take a moment just to take a deep breath and that's exactly what I did," says Erica Campbell, solo artist and one half of GRAMMY-winning gospel group Mary Mary, of her Best Gospel Album win at the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
As we get closer to the 61st GRAMMY Awards on Feb. 10, Campbell shares where she and her GRAMMY-winning record producer husband Warryn Campbell keep their GRAMMY Awards. (They have nine golden gramophones throughout their careers together!)
"Out of everything that has changed, this GRAMMY process has not." Warryn says. "It’s not about popularity, it's the National Academy Of Recording Arts And Sciences. It's us recognizing that you put all of your efforts in the science of crafting this art, not the science of marketing it, not the science of promoting it, the science of making it."
"That's why I love, love, love and will forever love the GRAMMYs," he continues. "We're getting rewarded for what we actually really do."
