GRAMMY-nominated party trap superstars Migos' highly-anticipated third studio album Culture II debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking the group's second consecutive No. 1 album debut, coming almost a year to the day after the release of Culture in Jan. 2017.

Anticipation for the album was stirred up largely by Migos' ongoing track record of quality singles and track features, as well as the all-star slate of guest producers and big-name verse features sprinkled across Culture II, which the group members teased heavily through social media in the months leading up to the release. The final credits read like a who's-who of rap game chart toppers, with a feature list boasting names such as 21 Savage, Drake, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla Sign, and Cardi B, and a list of writing and production contributors including Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, 2 Chainz, and Kanye West.
Along with scoring the highest single-week streaming numbers for an album since April of 2017, Culture II's positive reception has placed Migos into an elite club, making them just the fifth rap group in chart history to have more than one No. 1 album – the other four being Eminem-affiliates D12, A Tribe Called Quest, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Beastie Boys.
