This spring the GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares are launching Giving 2010, a GRAMMY Charities grassroots giving campaign designed to engage Recording Academy members and their colleagues and friends nationwide.
Taking place April 1 through May 15, the campaign will be led by music industry co-captains in all 12 of The Recording Academy Chapter cities and leverage the power of straightforward fundraising strategies along with a range of viral and social networking tools to generate resources for both Foundations. The resources collected will help fund the Foundations' range of programs and services, while simultaneously helping to serve the GRAMMY Foundation's mission of bringing to national attention important music and arts education issues and MusiCares' mission of assisting music professionals in times of financial, medical and personal emergencies.
