Introduced at the 2024 Grammys, the Grammy Award for Best Dance Pop Recording recognizes excellence in dance recordings rooted in electronic and club-oriented production, while incorporating elements of pop songwriting and vocals. Eligible recordings showcase the fundamentals of dance music — rhythmic momentum, dynamic build-ups and breakdowns, and instrumental-driven energy shifts. The Grammy is awarded to the artist, producer, and mixer.
