YouTube Is Largest Online Streaming Music Source
An estimated 38.4 percent of YouTube's 384 billion plays in 2011 came from music videos, according to rough estimated figures from Digital Music News. The figures make YouTube by far the largest online streaming music sources, surpassing Pandora (98 billion plays), Spotify (37 billion plays), Rhapsody (2 billion plays), and Grooveshark (2 billion plays), according to the report.
