Tidal's goals have always been distinctive, especially its aim at high-end luxury taste, for example, with its Mercedes-Benz partnership. The streaming service announced its addition of Album Info and Track Info, under Options, for millions of songs, expanding the ways fans can go deeper into their favorite music.

Whether through listening or general interest, the creators and crafters behind a person's favorite recordings are a better lead than breadcrumbs when it comes to finding new favorite songs, albums, and artists. That was part of what motivated the Recording Academy in 2012 to launch our "Give Fans the Credit" initiative, so it is great to see Tidal step up. Billboard has screenshot examples.
Tidal is also creating original content around these deep-dives with more rich details and commentary, called "Live Credits." Fat Joe's "So Excited" gets this treatment at TIDAL.com/SoExcited showing a quick look at the greater depth that will keep being added, connecting the people behind the music to fans in new ways.
