Camila Cabello spent 2017 establishing herself as a solo artist, closing the book on her Fifth Harmony chapter. This message of new independence takes center stage in her song "Never Be The Same," the lead single on her debut solo album Camila, and its nostalgic video, which suggest times are precious because we can never go back.
On Valentine's Day Feb. 14, Cabella announced her Never Be The Same Tour will see her hit the road in the lead role for the first time, beginning in Vancouver on April 9, traveling down the West Coast, jumping to Chicago April 22, finishing the East Coast in New York on May 4 and then jumping across the Atlantic with a final concert in Amsterdam on June 13.
In the video for "Never Be The Same," Cabella thanks her fans and calls last year "the best year of my life." One highpoint came in April 2017 on The Fate Of The Furious: The Album thanks to J Balvin and Pitbull's hit "Hey Ma" with Cabello on board as both songwriter and featured artist. The Spanish version was nominated for Best Urban Song at the 18th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards.
