Lynton Named Sony CEO
Following last week's news, Sony Pictures Chairman and CEO Michael Lynton has been named CEO of Sony Corporation of America, and Nicole Seligman has been appointed president of the company, effective June 27, according to a Billboard.biz report. In his new role, Lynton will oversee Sony's entertainment operations, including Sony Music Entertainment and Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Seligman will oversee Sony's U.S. headquarters operations.
