In the most recent episode of the Recording Academy's new music and travel series "On Location," singer/songwriter Jade Novah gives us a taste of Los Angeles' spiritual side and shares the connection between her music and artist name.
In "On Location: L.A." host Charlie Travers chats with musicians around the city to get a personal taste of the place they call home and to visit the different spots that inspire their music and boost their creativity. Originally from Cleveland, up-and-coming star Jade Novah takes us to the welcoming, crystal-filled House of Intuition in L.A. where she tells us a bit about her debut album, All Blue.
"Everything is about elevating spiritually. The way that I love, the way that I treat people," she explains as she shares the message behind her music.
The breakout star is letting her voice shine as she finally takes center stage – she spent plenty of time writing songs for other artists, singing backup vocals and touring with megastars, including GRAMMY-winner Rihanna. She gained a large following in recent years on YouTube for her covers of Rihanna, Beyoncé and more.

Novah is staying grounded yet aiming for the stars with her music: "I gave myself the name Jade because of the stone, which represents positivity and love and feminine energy; and Novah is an exploding star," she shares.
