Google Launches Music Discovery Website
Google has unveiled Magnifier, a music discovery site that features video of live performances, artist interviews and free music downloads designed to be uploaded to Music Beta by Google, a cloud-based music service the company launched in May. Magnifier will feature two free downloads by a different artist each week, launching this week with My Morning Jacket, as well as free downloads daily. A Music Beta by Google account, which is still available by invitation only, is required to acquire the free downloads. (8/18)
