Dinosaur Jr.'s Lou Barlow, J Mascis and Murph will be teachers and counselors from July 30 to Aug. 2 at Camp Fuzz, which will be held this summer at New York's Full Moon Resort in the Catskill Mountains.

In 1985, the college-rock greats' self-titled debut album Dinosaur preceded the litigation by a supergroup that compelled their next-generation name change. In the late '80s, friction caused Barlow to leave the band and focus on independent solo projects. Murph later left for a time too, but in 2005 the original Dinosaur Jr. reunited and has been recording and touring steadily since. There is so much to learn from these musicians, both looking back over musical and cultural history as well as just grooving and learning licks and beats.
Camp Fuzz's FAQ recommends bringing cash, if desired, for the bar, as the resort has no ATM machines.
