Bazzi released his debut album Cosmic earlier this year and it was clear with hits like "Mine" and "Beautiful," the singer/songwriter was headed for gold—the album is now certified gold in the U.S.
In a recent interview with the Recording Academy, Bazzi talked about how personal the album is for him.
"It's a direct in look into the last four years of my life in Los Angeles," he said. "You can listen to Cosmic and truly get to know me, which I think is special."
Bazzi's touch is really ingrained in the album—he produced and wrote every record, he shared. He was on tour with pop singer Camila Cabello earlier this year, who collaborated with him on a new version of "Beautiful." "She's just the sweetest girl, she's such a good energy," he said.
