- Prior to stepping onto the scene as a solo artist, Michaels worked as a songwriter for big names like Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony, Gwen Stefani, Hailee Steinfeld, Linkin Park, and Justin Bieber.
- Michaels first solo EP, Nervous System, was released in 2017. Her debut solo single, "Issues," climbed to No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
- Did you know? Michaels co-wrote the theme song for Disney Channel's Austin & Aly.
- Michaels received her first career nominations at the 60th GRAMMY Awards for Best New Artist and Song Of The Year ("Issues").
