- Members: Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, Stevie Nicks
- Formed in 1967 in London, England
- Fleetwood Mac saw mainstream success in 1975 with their first release after Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joined the official lineup. Their self-titled album went to No. 1 in the U.S. in 1976, with multiple charting singles, including "Over My Head" and "Landslide."
- The band won two GRAMMYs at the 20th GRAMMY Awards for Album Of The Year for Rumours.
- Two Fleetwood Mac albums have been inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame: Fleetwood Mac (1975) and Rumours (1977).
- Did you know? Buckingham and his then-girlfriend Nicks were asked to join Fleetwood Mac after Mick Fleetwood happened to hear one of the tracks they recorded as a duo while he was touring Sound City Studios.
- In 2018 Fleetwood Mac became the first-ever band to receive the MusiCares Person of the Year award in honor of their support for MusiCares , which provides critical financial, health and addiction services to members of the music community.
- In addition to MusiCares, Fleetwood Mac's philanthropic support includes the Elton John AIDS Foundation, American Red Cross Starkey Hearing Foundation.
