- Founded 1995, in Los Angeles
- Members: will i. am, Fergie, apl.de.ap, Taboo.
- The Black Eyed Peas first major hit was "Where Is The Love?," the lead single from their 2003 album, Elephunk. The group's follow-up album, 2005's Monkey Business, had an even greater impact, achieving multi-platinum sales and spawning four hits: "Don’t Punk With My Heart," "Don’t Lie," "My Humps," and "Pump It."
- The Black Eyed Peas made their debut on the GRAMMY stage at the 46th GRAMMY Awards in 2004, teaming with Justin Timberlake to perform "Where Is The Love?"
- Did you know? Black Eyed Peas members will i. am and apl.de.ap met as 8th graders in Los Angeles and were originally signed as a duo to Ruthless Records, the label run by N.W.A.'s Eazy E. Later the duo evolved into a group called the Black Eyed Pods before finally settling on the Black Eyed Peas.
- The Black Eyed Peas established their own charitable organization, the Peapod foundation. In 2011, through the Peapod foundation, the group opened a music academy for teens in New York City.
