"I'm over the moon with this," said recording engineer and GRAMMY winner Geoff Emerick as he accepted his Recording Academy Technical GRAMMY Award honor in 2003. Best known as the expert who crafted many masterpieces by the Beatles, other artists he thanked in aggregate included America, Jeff Beck, Johnny Cash, Cheap Trick, Elvis Costello, Art Garfunkel, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Mott the Hoople, Supertramp, and Ultravox.
