Australian singer/songwriter Ziggy Alberts puts his own heartfelt spin on Avril Lavigne's GRAMMY-nominated hit, "Complicated." Stripping the track down to just guitar and vocals, Alberts reinterprets the pop-punk classic through his coastal folk lens.
"Complicated" was nominated for Song Of The Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 2003 GRAMMYs. More than 20 years later, Alberts breathes new life into the song with a tender performance that swaps teenage angst for subtle vulnerability and warmth. The performance follows the release of Alberts' seventh studio album, New Love, a project he describes as "a return to simplicity." For more ReImagined covers, visit GRAMMY.com/videos.
