Jazz vocalist Samara Joy has celebrated many milestones since her debut in 2021, and she owes it all to her parents' unwavering support — which is why her five GRAMMYs are on display at their house instead of hers. "I keep them there as a present and a gift to them." Joy's first GRAMMY night in 2023 was unforgettable. Along with performing at the Premiere Ceremony, she took home two awards, Best Jazz Vocal Album and Best New Artist — the latter a rare feat for a jazz musician. "Even if I'm doing something musically where I'm just being myself and it may be seen as underrated, it still matters," she shares.

If she wins more GRAMMYs in the future? "I'd still keep them at their house," she says with a laugh. "If I look at the awards every morning, it might go to my head… I want to keep things down to earth." For more new episodes of Where Do You Keep Your GRAMMY?, visit GRAMMY.com/videos.
