At the 2007 GRAMMYs, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Red Hot Chilli Peppers took home two awards for Stadium Arcadium: Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal. Tributing their Los Angeles roots, Bassist Flea strutted onstage to accept the award for Best Rock Album in vibrant Los Angeles Lakers memorabilia, showcasing his hometown pride.
In their acceptance speech, they expressed gratitude to their loved ones, fans, and the people who made their careers possible, including producer Rick Rubin.
