At the 2018 GRAMMYs, Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna were all smiles as they took home the award for Best Rap/Sung Performance for their iconic collaboration, "LOYALTY." from Lamar's fourth studio album, DAMN. Presented by John Legend and Tony Bennett, the win was one of five for Lamar that evening, including Best Rap Album for DAMN. and Best Rap Song for "HUMBLE."
Taking the mic first, Lamar gave a heartfelt shoutout to his team, collaborators and fans before humbly praising Rihanna. "This really belongs to her, real talk," he said, passing the mic to Rihanna, who graciously responded, "Thank you, Kendrick, for giving me this incredible opportunity to be on such a great record.
