Catching up with the Chicago Chapter before heading off to see his friend Nas perform, in 2014 Greyson Chance was about to turn 17. "As I've evolved as a human, I've also evolved as an artist," Chance shared. Discovered on YouTube at the age of 13, performing a Lady Gaga hit at a talent show, the pressures and disappointments of fame don't compete with his need to connect with music through songwriting, recording and performance. He believes there is a crazy kind of emotional ecstasy tied up with art, and that the challenges of creating keep changing with the material.
