The Congo-born musician, artist and producer had a unique adolescence, with the Great African War forcing him to live independently when he was just a teenager. Zayne says that experience taught him wisdom, compassion and understanding — all qualities that have contributed to his musical identity. His artistic philosophy is centered on humility and operating as a vessel for something greater and more mystical.
