The 22nd Annual GRAMMY Awards marked a big night for the Doobie Brothers, who took home their first two golden gramophones thanks to their blockbuster album Minute By Minute. And when they were awarded Record Of The Year for its chart-topping single, "What a Fool Believes," the group praised everyone who made it a success.
After the band's longtime producer Ted Templeman thanked those behind the scenes — including engineer Donn Landee — Pat Simmons closed out with a heartfelt ode to their loyal listeners: "Most of all, we want to thank our fans who made it all possible stickin' with us for all these years."
