U.S. hip-hop is giving a lift to this up-and-comer from Ireland as legendary rap producer Mike Dean takes Kennedy into the remix.
Master of rap production Mike Dean has been remixing the lush but raw romance of Dermot Kennedy's serenades. Kennedy sat with us backstage after playing Lollapalooza and talked about the Dean collaboration and how playing Lolla's main stage introduced him to a new experience. "There was a good crowd there," said Kennedy. "Just to get that insight into what it's like to play those really massive main stages is really cool."
