Last year, Zayn Malik took fans for a wild ride in the MTV VMA-winning music video for "Dusk Till Dawn" featuring Sia. Now, the former One Direction singer is back with the action-packed sequel, dropping the video for "Let Me."

"Let Me" was produced Malik himself, along with British production duo MYKL, and recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Malik developed the video concept himself as well, and once again worked with "Dusk Till Dawn" video producer/director Jose Padilha, who is know for his work on the hit Netflix series "Narcos," the 2014 remake of Robocop, and more.
The video's plot follows Malik into an upscale underground of shady business where he falls at first sight for a woman on the dance floor of a swanky nightclub. After executing an undoubtedly off-the-books exchange of briefcases on a yacht at gunpoint, Malik returns to the nightclub to snub the crime boss, causing a slugfest to ensue before his love interest takes control and becomes the story's true hero. The video's ending promise of "to be continued …" teases trilogy as the couple speed off in a boat.

After his time in One Direction, Malik arrived as a solo artist with his 2016 debut album Mind Of Mine, led by the smash single "Pillowtalk." He followed up with a hit from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack, "I Don't Want To Live Forever," with Taylor Swift. "Let Me," is his third single since, and may be a sign that sophomore album is on its way from the 25-year-old singer. Malik has been teasing his second album recently, and last September during an interview with NME following the release of "Dusk Till Dawn," he said, “This record, I’ve kind of finalized it, but there’s always ideas. Every day I find another song that I’m swapping out with another one. That’s why the album date hasn’t really come yet."
As fans await official news of a Z2 release date, the highly entertaining "Let Me" video will surely hold them over.
