Names like Logic, 21 Savage, and Post Malone have all played installments of the "Outbreak Presents…" tour series on their way up the career ladder to mainstream fame. "We're thrilled to announce Smokepurpp," said Outbreak Tour founder Steve Glazer in the 2018 tour announcement. "As with past Outbreak headliners, we continuously strive to showcase not only emerging artists coming into their own but artists that display that rare ability to reshape pop culture through music."

As one of the better-known frontrunners of the SoundCloud rap movement and a big influence on younger crossover rappers like Lil Pump, Smokepurpp's name has been bubbling up from the underground ever since his hit summer single "Audi" went viral in 2017. Shortly after singing with Interscope imprint Alamo Records, Smokepurp announced his debut commercial mixtape Deadstar in March 2017, which climbed to No. 42 on the Billboard 200.

Smokepurpp's 2018 Monster Energy Outbreak Tour will kick off on April 19 in Orlando, Fla., and run for five weeks before wrapping up on May 24 in Houston, Tex., at the House Of Blues.  Presale tickets and full show date details are available from the Outbreak Tour website.
