The summer 2018 touring season just added a few decibels in the form of Rise Against's full-scale assault of North America.

With AFI and Anti-Flag in tow, the Chicago hardcore collective will hit arenas and ampitheaters beginning July 27 in Montreal. Dubbed the Mourning in Amerika tour, the run will crisscross cities such as New York, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Chicago, Dallas, Salt Lake City, and Seattle, before wrapping Sept. 30 in Irvine, Calif.
Rise Against — vocalist/guitarist Tim McIlrath, lead guitarist Zach Blair, bassist Joe Principe. and drummer Brandon Barnes — will be promoting their recent politically minded release, 2017's Wolves, which hit No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart.

"We're playing three new songs [live] — 'Wolves,' 'Welcome To The Breakdown' and 'The Violence,'" McIlrath told GRAMMY.com contributor Steve Baltin last summer. "And they’re actually going over super well. The crowd has immediately taken to these songs more than they ever have in the past. I think it's partly because I hope they’re good songs and partly because we just personally love them. And when a band is personally excited to play something that shows onstage."
AFI will be representing their self-titled 2017 album, which hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200, marking their highest charting position since 2016's chart-topping Decemberunderground. Pittsburgh's Anti-Flag also released an album in 2017, American Fall.
