This June, MusiCares is celebrating Inclusivity Month with an assortment of programs dedicated to inclusive, holistic wellness in the music industry and beyond.

The Health & Human Services Team has a lineup of programs planned including support groups, health clinics, and panel discussions encompassing various specific music communities and overall inclusion in the workplace. Programming kicks off at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show in Anaheim, California, where MusiCares is hosting a daily Safe Harbor Room from June 3 to June 5

June 3-5: NAMM Safe Harbor Room

MusiCares is hosting a daily Safe Harbor Room during the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA.

Staffed by qualified chemical dependency and intervention specialists, the Safe Harbor Room offers a support network to those in recovery while they are participating in the production of televised music shows and other major music events. Open to show attendees only.

June 15: Dental Clinic (In Partnership With The Nuci's Space)

MusiCares is partnering with Nuci's Space to offer a free dental clinic to individuals in the music community who are in need. More information to come.

June 22: Safe Touring (In Partnership With The Recording Academy's NY Chapter)

MusiCares is teaming up with the Recording Academy's New York Chapter to explore creating comfortable and safe environments while on tour. More information to come.

June 23: Benefits: What You Need To Know About SSI, SSD, SNAP And Other Public Assistance

Join MusiCares & NLSLA to learn about eligibility and the application process for LA county benefit programs. Topics will include CalWORKs, TANF, CalFresh (food stamps), GR/GA, WIC, SSI, CAPI, IHSS, and other public assistance.

June 25: Black Mental Health Panel (In Partnership With DEI, GRAMMY Museum, And The Universal Hip Hop Museum)

MusiCares Men's Health Screenings

MusiCares wants to help our music community stay healthy. In honor of Men's Health Month in June, we are offering Virtual Men's Health Screenings to qualified music industry professionals throughout the month. Services provided by the office of Dr. Janice Johnston, Redirect Health.

Support Groups

MusiCares offers 100 free weekly online emotional support and addiction recovery support groups open to anyone interested in participating. Support groups are a safe and secure place to sort through a variety of wellness issues or concerns. Each group is led by a licensed professional and additional assistance is available if needed.

Health Clinics

MusiCares provides a wide range of health and wellness services, including assistance with medical expenses (such as doctor, dentist and hospital bills) as well as support in obtaining low-cost health insurance and preventative services.

Weekly Yoga
