"It's a real honor to have the opportunity to work with the STX team and be involved with Uglydolls," said Pitbull. "The brand has a fun approach to universal themes without relevance of color, culture or creed, these are issues that I'm passionate about, and our team is excited about this partnership."

Pitbull's illustrious career has seen the Miami native conquer the charts, partner with some of the world's biggest brands on their advertising campaigns, launch his own Sirius XM Radio station, lend his music to movies and video games, and win both a GRAMMY Award and Latin GRAMMY Award. This latest endeavor will not only show off Mr. Worldwide's songwriting chops, but also showcase his voice acting skills.

"Pitbull's incredible musical creativity and magnetic personality have captivated millions of fans who love him all over the world," said Adam Fogelson, president of STXfilms.

While the Uglydolls film is not set to debut until 2019, the team at STX has already teased that the project will be included in other platform offerings, such as STXtv, STXdigital and STXsurreal VR.

Pitbull's latest single release, "Jungle," with Stereotypes, featuring E-40, dropped in last November in advance of his Greatest Hits album which became available Dec. 1, 2017.
