Fresh off releasing her Una Vez Mas EP, pop singer Malu Trevejo stepped onto the Lollapalooza stage for the very first time this summer. The moment was a scary one for the 16-year-old Cuban-Spanish singer, but it was one that made her feel proud.
"It's my first time at Lollapalooza, so I'm so proud 'cause I'm Cuban and I'm Spanish and there's not too many Latin people singing," she told the Recording Academy after her set. "I was scared when I was about to jump on stage because I didn't know what the reaction would be, I was really scared, but then when I got off of it, I was like, yeah, I got it."
The "Hasta Luego" singer also shared details on her EP, advice for staying focused and more. Check out her full interview above.
