"Saturday Night Live" will return for its first episode of 2018 this weekend, and today the showrunners have announced the first batch of celebrity hosts and musical guests viewers can expect to see in the coming season.

The first pairing coming to the "SNL" stage on Jan. 13 will be host Sam Rockwell, with past GRAMMY nominee Halsey onboard as musical guest. Subsequent episodes on Jan. 20 and Jan. 27 will feature the respective pairings of Jessica Chastain and South African-Australian singer/songwriter Troye Sivan and Will Ferrell with GRAMMY-winning country singer Chris Stapleton.
