Special performances by GRAMMY® winner and current nominee Gloria Gaynor and current GRAMMY nominee Jessie J. DJ Michelle Pesce will be spinning tunes prior to and after the performances. Arturo Sandoval and members of the GRAMMY Camp® — Jazz Session will perform in the MasterCard Jazz Lounge.
WHAT:
The Recording Academy® will host its official GRAMMY Celebration celebrating this year's nominees and winners. After-Party sponsors include Aflac, Degree Women, Delta Air Lines, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Hyundai, JBL, MasterCard, Microsoft Surface, PEOPLE, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble (COVERGIRL, Crest, Herbal Essences, and Olay), and WestwoodOne. This year's theme, "Passport to the World," will transport party guests through the elegance and glamour of air, sea and land travel through the '20s and '30s and will come to life with two historical train station platforms, an opulent paddleboat, and several hot air balloons along with entertainers, dancers, acrobats, aerialists, and elaborate visual projections. Renowned celebrity caterer Along Came Mary returns to cater the event with an exquisite menu that includes five themed dinner stations (Victoria Station, Casablanca Airstrip, The Zeppelin, Transcontinental Railroad, and South Seas Steamship) and numerous destination-inspired desserts. After Party guests will enjoy a variety of fine spirits by Cîroc Ultra-Premium Vodka, Johnny Walker Black Label and Don Julio Tequila with beer by Anheuser-Busch. Media outlets that are already credentialed to cover the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards Media Center MUST send a separate crew to cover the GRAMMY Celebration After-Party, and not use the crew from Media Center. We will not credential the same crew for both Media Center and After-Party.
