Future has dropped new music, and it is the collaboration with producer/DJ Zaytoven fans have been waiting for.

The nine-track mixtape called Beastmode 2 was unexpectedly released this week. The much-awaited follow-up to Future's 2015 Beast Mode, which Zaytoven, produced, arrived on July 5. Young Scooter has a feature credit on the project, which was executive produced by GRAMMY-nominated audio engineer Seth Firkins, who died in 2017.
Earlier this year, Zaytoven told Ssense that the mixtape would be released sometime after early June. The highly regarded producer who has been a major player behind trap music also talked about how he feels when he and Future work together.
"When I work with Future, it's almost like a work of art," he said.
Future will hit the road with Nicki Minaj this fall on the 2018-2019 Nickhndrxx Tour, and the GRAMMY-nominated rapper has a few scheduled performances on the horizon, including appearances at Scène Bell in Quebec, Canada on July 7 and Outside Lands in San Francisco on Aug. 11.
