The Stockholm studios of Ten Music Group have been hosting more than two dozen artists for the latest BMI and Ultra Music songwriter camp. Names you might not yet know such as Karen Harding, Karra, Lost Boy, OMI, and Neil Ormandy are hard at work trying to come up with great songs that could become big hits.

And it wouldn't be the first time. "High Hopes" from Panic! At The Disco's 2018 album Pray For The Wicked began at BMI camp and went on to become Panic!'s best-charting single yet, reaching No. 4 on Billboard's Hot 100 in Jan. 2019. It now has more than 210 million views on YouTube. Artists Farina and Tokischa had another 2019 success that emerged from a BMI songwriting camp, "Perras Como Tú."

After an excited tourist tweet, Lost Boy got back to work and tweeted a pic of his all-business workstation at Ten. Ormandy, who is also in Stockholm now, attended a previous Ultra/BMI camp in Palm Springs this year. There is another is camp coming up in Copenhagen later this month, and even more are in-store including Atlanta and Los Angeles in April and Amsterdam in October, with additional 2019 camps expected to be announced.
