It should come as no surprise that Beyoncé, one of the fiercest advocates for women everywhere, chose Oct. 11, the International Day of the Girl, to drop a new video in celebration of girls around the world.

The short clip, which was posted to Facebook, features a diverse cast of young women performing Beyoncé's hit "Freedom" at various locations around the world, including at outside poignant venues in Washington, D.C., such as the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol and the White House.
