WHO:             Performing artists include Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas conductor Alondra De La Parra, two-time Latin GRAMMY® winner Alejandro Fernández, Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY® winner Natalia Jiménez, Mexican singer Eugenia León, and two-time Latin GRAMMY winner Noel Schajris. Also, The Latin Recording Academy® President/CEO Gabriel Abaroa Jr. and other industry VIPs will be in attendance. Additional artists will be announced shortly.     
 
 WHAT:          The 2010 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year eventwill honor Plácido Domingo and include a special gala and concert featuring friends performing some of his pop duets and favorite music. The 2010 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year tribute gala is one of the most prestigious events during Latin GRAMMYWeek and is attended by numerous Latin GRAMMY nominees, celebrities and music industry VIPs.
