It seems like just yesterday that Meghan Trainor accepted her Best New Artist GRAMMY at the 58th GRAMMY Awards. In reality, the 24-year-old singer/songwriter has been busy since then — she just finished a season on the new singing competition show "The Four" and she's releasing new music.
In the meantime, ASCAP announced that Trainor will serve as the keynote speaker at the 2018 "I Create Music" Expo, which will be held May 7–9 at Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. Each year the conference features workshops, panels, masterclasses, and mentoring sessions from a roster of world-class talent. Trainor joins previously announced expo panelists Jason Mraz, Dan Wilson, Claudia Brant, and Marcus Miller, among others.
This announcement follows the March 1 release of Trainor's latest feminist-forward single, "No Excuses," from her upcoming third studio album.
