Women’s Safety in Music Resources

The Recording Academy is committed to advancing safe work environments for women and all individuals in the music industry by driving meaningful change. We recognize the need for collaborative efforts across all sectors, and are working to bring together key industry stakeholders, including studio owners, major labels, publishers, and streaming platforms. Together, we will develop a roadmap for lasting improvements in industry practices. This is an initial list of resources, with the intention to expand as we continue to partner with other organizations dedicated to advancing women’s safety in music. The Academy aims to unite advocacy organizations and key stakeholders to evaluate, enhance, and commit to fostering a more inclusive, respectful, and safe environment for everyone in the music industry.
