Trevor Noah, Host

Trevor Noah was born on Feb. 20, 1984, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Noah hosted the 2026 Grammy Awards for the sixth year in a row, becoming the first person to host the show six consecutive years since Andy Williams led the first seven live telecasts from 1971 to 1977 — and marking his final year in the role.

He made his Grammy hosting debut at the 63rd Grammy Awards in 2021, stepping in after Alicia Keys had hosted the 2019 and 2020 ceremonies, and has hosted every show since.

Noah is also a Grammy nominee in his own right. He received his first nomination for Best Comedy Album for "Son Of Patricia" in 2020, followed by nods in the same category for "I Wish You Would" in 2024 and "Where Was I" in 2025. He earned his fourth nomination for 2026, for Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording for "Into The Uncut Grass" — making this the third year in a row he has been both host and nominee, a feat no other Grammy host has achieved more than once.

Before taking the Grammy stage, Noah spent seven years as host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show."
