About Terrence Thornton

"Sometimes the best line is the simplest line." — Pusha T

Born Terrence LeVarr Thornton on May 13, 1977 in the Bronx, New York City, Pusha T got started with his brother Gene in Clipse, attracting production from Pharrell Williams. His 2010 featured artist appearance in Kanye West's 2010 "Runaway" helped launch his solo career and four Billboard 200 albums since of which 2018's Daytona reached No. 3, his highest so far. Pusha T's first GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration "Like I Love You" at the 45th GRAMMY Awards was recorded as a member of Clipse. Kanye West's "Mercy" collaboration in 2012 brought Pusha T his Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance nominations at the 55th GRAMMY Awards. Daytona was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 61st GRAMMY Awards.
