Madonna opened the 41st GRAMMYs with a Japanese-inspired performance of "Nothing Really Matters," drawing inspiration from its music video.
The pop legend performed a hypnotic rendition of the track, which featured a red kimono look and a man performing with flamed rope. The song's parent album, 'Ray of Light,' won Madonna three GRAMMYs that night: Best Pop Album, and Best Dance Recording and Best Short Form Music Video for the title track.
