Musicians, actors and comedians will come together on Nov. 2 in Los Angeles for Back 2 School Class of 2019 to raise moeny for music education. The star-studded lineup includes singer/songwriter and Emmy noimnee Mandy Moore, GRAMMY nominee Jim James, GRAMMY winner Blake Mills, actor John C. Reilly and more, all to benefit music education.

Back 2 School will feature L.A. institution The Watkins Family Hour with singer/songwriter/producer Mike Viola as the house band. Other performers include singer/songwriters Langhorne Slim and LP, comedy duo Garfunkel & Oates, and one half of The Bird And The Bee, Inara George.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the D'Addario Foundation and their efforts to provide kids access to amazing music programs, provide college assistance scholarships, and encourage more females to pick up guitars and rock out through D’Addario’s Girls In Music Initiative.

“Bringing music instruction back into schools and communities is a simple but deeply powerful way to improve our education system and boost creativity and academic achievement in students,” D’Addario Foundation Executive Director, Suzanne D’Addario Brouder said in a statement. “The D’Addario Foundation is a leader in finding and partnering with the highest quality music programs in the neediest areas.” 

Tickets for the event start at $50 and will go on-sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 20 via Eventbrite. VIP packages are also available.
