Dolly Parton has won many prestigious awards, including multiple GRAMMYs, and now the country icon has an award named after herself to add to her collection.
Leadership Tennessee, a state leadership education program that prepares and works with a network of leaders, has established a Dolly Parton Excellence in Leadership Award. On Saturday, Aug. 11, the organization gave Parton the first one "for her transformational & selfless work to improve lives across Tennessee" at the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Parton, whose home state is Tennessee, received the award during the program's fifth year anniversary. Rep. Mark White (R- Tenn.) presented the award to the singer. "Thank you Dolly for everything you do for our great state!" he tweeted out.
The singer has helped many causes in and out of Tennessee, including with her Imagination Library organization, which gifts children books up until they are five-years-old. Parton was honored with the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011 and has had two songs, "Jolene" and "I Will Always Love You," inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame.
