On June 4 Netflix officially announced they are partnering with Dolly Parton on an eight-episode series that will bring classics such as "9 To 5," "I Will Always Love You," "Islands In The Stream," and "Jolene" to life on the popular video streaming service. Each episode will correspond with one of Parton's hits.
Parton will serve as the series' executive producer, singer, songwriter, and co-star, an appropriate involvement given the multihyphenate's résumé. No additional details or an air date have been announced, but it's safe to say we can expect details forthcoming.
