Dust off your vocal runs, because two of music's biggest divas are preparing to break the internet when they unveil their collaboration later this month.

On May 8, Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato announced via social media they will debut their new single "Fall In Line" at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, making good on a promise they have been teasing for quite some time.

"Fall In Line" is a track off of Aguilera's forthcoming album due out June 15, Libertation. The LP, her first since 2012's Lotus, spans 11 tracks, including features from rappers Ty Dolla Sign and 2 Chainz ("Acceleration") and production from Anderson .Paak and Kanye West, who oversaw a track titled "Maria," which includes a Michael Jackson sample and an introduction that channels The Sound Of Music. "Issues" singer/songwriter Julia Michaels also contributed a song to the album, which Aguilera told Billboard was more hip-hop and R&B-infused.
"At the end of the day, I am a soul singer," Aguilera said. "When you strip back the words 'pop star' and the many things that I've done, singing soulfully is where my core, my root and my heart really is. And as you can see, it's what I'm inspired by."
Aguilera's duet with Lovato also marks the first time the singer/songwriter has recruited another female singer since the GRAMMY-winning "Lady Marmalade" in 2001, which featured Lil Kim, Mya and Pink.
As for her part, Lovato cites Aguilera as a big influence on her own career.
"I have always looked up to Christina," Lovato told Billboard. "I remember being at her concert and singing facing the crowd instead of the stage, knowing that that was exactly what I wanted to do in life."
