If there is one constant in contemporary Christian singer Blanca's life, it's her relationship with God.

Born to a religious family, Blanca — born Blanca Elaine Reyes — built a strong foundation for her Christianity at a young age. As she entered adulthood, Blanca faced a series of trials and tribulations, losing her mother and father. In 2020, she announced a divorce from her husband after two years of separation. Yet, through her struggles, Blanca continued to find solace in God, and her 2022 release, The Heartbreak and the Healing, details the resiliency and comfort she acquired over the past few years.

In this episode of Positive Vibes Only, Blanca delivers a charming performance of The Heartbreak and The Healing's B-side, "Something Better." Her gratitude for God's role as her savior becomes apparent as she sings over the chords of an electric guitar: "Every moment I was sure I wouldn't make it through/ I was safe because of you."

Despite the heartbreak and grief Blanca has experienced, the singer found a way to turn her negative emotions into a feeling of security and hopefulness toward a more promising future. "And all the broken pieces within/ You put them back together again/ And with You, a new story begins," Blanca sings, smiling into the camera.

Formerly a member of Christian hip-hop band Group 1 Crew, Blanca started a solo career in 2015 with her debut EP Who I am. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Orlando, the 36-year-old songstress also released two Spanish EPs, Quebrantado (2019) and Renovada (2021). The Heartbreak And The Healing marks Blanca's most vulnerable release thus far, as she takes listeners on a journey from her lowest point to a season of recovery and comfort.

The past few years have been anything but ordinary. But even in the height of mayhem, contemporary worship singer Cody Carnes has leaned on Jesus. If anything, his faith and comfort in God — the "Firm Foundation" in his life — have only gotten stronger.

"I've still got joy in chaos/ I've got peace that makes no sense," Carnes sings in the first verse of "Firm Foundation (He Won't)." "So, I won't be going under/ I'm not held by my own strength/ 'Cause I build my life on Jesus/ He's never let me down."

In this episode of Positive Vibes Only, Carnes delivers a stripped-down performance of "Firm Foundation" from an open field at dusk.

"Firm Foundation," which he originally released in 2021, inspired his upcoming live album of the same name, which just arrived on Aug. 25. On Instagram, Carnes revealed, "These songs were written in uncertain times in the last few years, but they contain the certain hope of Jesus."

Later this year, Carnes will join his wife, Kari Jobe, and Christian rock musician Martin Smith on The Blessing Tour through Europe. The shows will begin on Oct. 20 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and end on Nov. 19 in Stockholm, Sweden.

As a child, Christian singer Anna Golden spent her days in and out of audition rooms trying to get her big break — until she realized the spotlight (and its pressure) wasn't her calling.

"I loved leading worship because none of the attention was on me — all the glory is directed to God," Golden revealed in a press statement. And on her new song, "Glory to Glory," that proud, unwavering appreciation for God is front and center.

"There's so much more than we have seen/ You said through us, You'll do greater things," Golden declares in the second verse. "A fresh revival, there's a beckoning/ We've been here a while, and it's just the beginning."

Through thick and thin, worship singer Vincent Bohanan turns to God for everything, as he reveals in his newest single, "I Love To Call Him." But it's not only because God answers his prayers — he enjoys doing it because, in his eyes, God is great in all aspects.

"Glorify the name of the Lord/ Who is worthy of all praise that's due His name/ Magnify the name of the Lord/ Give Him glory and all praise," Bohanan proudly sings in the chorus. "I love to call his name/ He is my father."
