About Ashley McBryde
"You don't change country music, it changes you." — Ashley McBryde
Born July 29, 1983 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Ashley McBryde traveled a long road before her full-length debut Girl Going Nowhere was released on March 30, 2018, with its moving ballad "A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega." She wrote her first bluegrass song at 12 and knew Nashville was what she wanted to do, then finally she spent a decade paying her dues while gaining respect for her performances, indie recordings and the powerful country feeling when she sings. Girl Going Nowhere was produced by Jay Joyce and nominated for Best Country Album at the 61st GRAMMY Awards.
